This is sort of a rant poem... so bare with me
Why??
Why do people have to be so close-minded?
Why
can't anyone take the time to understand
Understand what is odd and different
Different from their square lives.
Why
must people be so afraid of what's different?
Why can't people take the time to understand my religion?
My religion
is Wicca.
When people hear the words Wicca, Witch, and Witchcraft
They crinkle their noses and speak ill of me.
And
not just me, me and other witches.
Those people just like myself who stepped out
Out of the box
or out of the broom
closet if you will.
Wicca is not Satanic.
To Wiccans, who is "satan"?
We do not believe in "satan".
To us "satan"
is something the Christians made up
Made up to cover up for their stupid petty mistakes.
So they can pretend that their
human self doesn't make mistakes.
So they can feel perfect.
Well no mortal is perfect.
And those who feel they are
perfect always emotionally hurt me.
Why should i be punished for my beliefs?
For someone not to like me because of what
I believe in is shit.
Well for all of you out there listening or reading this pay attention
Wicca is my religion
The
Goddess and the God are who I worship.
Witchcraft is what I practice.
Earth, Air, Fire, and Water are my helpers.
I
am a Witch!
And I am proud to say it.
Magick and rituals are what I perform.
Magick of good, not "evil".
As it
is stated in the Wiccan Rede,
"An it harms none, do what you wilt"
Eight easy and powerful words.
Why can't people
just take the time to understand?
Why??
